how it all started

In 2017, after several exciting backpacking vacations, I (Sandra) fell head over heels in love with the stunning beauty of Costa Rica!

During one of these incredible adventures, I met a wonderful couple (Aad and Marian) from the Netherlands at the airport who generously offered me a cozy place to stay in Atenas.

Fast forward two years..........

They invited me to come back to Costa Rica – Atenas to join them in the fantastic world of property management and tours! Just a year later, I was all set to take the leap and quit my job, but then Covid hit. During the lockdown, I met Klaas and excitedly shared my dreams of emigration with him.

Thankfully, the travel restrictions kept us grounded for a whole year, but what a blessing it turned out to be! That year,

Klaas made the daring decision to join me in Costa Rica so we could embrace the vibrant Pura Vida lifestyle together with his wife (yes, we are happily married here and have built our dream home in beautiful Atenas)!
